The Esho Scholarship is awarded to Assyrian students who have completed Year 12 and enrolled into their first year of University. The aim of the scholarship is to help students financially and intellectually to become future leaders for the greater Assyrian community.
Expressions of interest open in July each year and the scholarship is awarded in January. The Esho Scholarship is a private philanthropic, social initiative of Peter and Christine Esho, founders and directors of Esho Group.
Successful applicants must be from Assyrian origin (at least one parent) and living in Australia. The scholarship recipient will be assessed on:

Academic performance and Year 12 results; plus

Involvement in the Assyrian community (either a community, faith, sport or other organisation)

Commitment to give back to the Assyrian community when they complete their studies and become leaders.
The successful scholarship recipient will receive the following:

$5,000 in cash support (paid across the first two semesters of first year of university)

$2,500 worth of career coaching (with a certified Liv Executive Coaching mentor over one year)

$2,500 in further grants and benefits to put towards an entrepreneurial venture (AWS, Google, Meta & Other Credits)

A 12 week paid internship with Esho Capital or with one of our associated partners
